Ubicomp and Wearables
At CBA lab, we are interested in ubiquitous computing and wearables. Our research agenda includes building and evaluating ubicomp applications and services that impact our lives, utilizing self-designed and commercial smart devices to detect human behaviors. Much of our work is situated in settings of everyday activity, such as the classroom, the office, the home, and on-the-body in mobile and wearable settings. Our research focuses on health related activities recognition (e.g., personal hygiene and eating detection).
