Sourish
Gunesh Dhekane

Sourish is a fourth-year PhD student in the Machine Learning program at GT and is advised by Prof. Thomas Ploetz. His research focuses on developing multimodal machine learning methods for sensor data analysis and applications. He has experience in domains including time-series foundation models, modality shifts, transfer learning, and self-supervised learning. His research has been funded by industry partners such as Cisco and Samsung Research America. In addition to research, he is also interested in teaching. In the past, he has instructed undergraduate and graduate courses at GT, including “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence” and “Machine Learning for Sensor-Based Human Activity Recognition: A Research Perspective”.
